We are lucky. We have so much to choose from. So many options in life. So many blessings. We have everything we need. That's the world we live in. But what if we are called to live a life filled with less than exactly everything we need, but more of Jesus in our lives? More faith, more trial, more sacrifice, more effort, more forgiveness, more peace, more joy, more Jesus. We're at a point in our lives where we're realizing that the Bible we're getting down and dirty with isn't the same Bible we were taught from in Sunday School. It's a book where if you read only the red words or even (especially) the actions of this Jesus guy - it'll knock your socks off. Our Savior was not a meek tree hugger, nor was he a damnation preaching televangelist. He was a man who kept a party going, cared enough to rage at injustice, left his friends to talk to strangers and shook up the whole world around him. So in a world with many options, we're choosing to dive into the mystery, let go of this power crazy-money hungry-empty soul world and get to know this Jesus.
