For Gord's parents 25th this summer we got them a photo sitting. The lady also did some pics of just Gord and me. Here is one of my faves. Actually this is one of the whole family, but I thought we looked good, so I cropped us out. Anyway, life has been fairly busy lately, and my brother is coming to stay for the weekend any minute now. I finally figured out how to load the five pictures I had on my camera from when I went to Breakforth. I didn't realize we had taken out the memory card so these we all the pictures I could take.

Props to Jon for these.
These were all taken at Alberto's, the restaurant in our hotel. They had this sweet 2 + 2 + 2 = 4 deal for breakfast. We thought that this was very bad math so we inquired only to find it meant(2 eggs + 2 pieces of meat + toast and hashbrowns = $4. We were most excited until we found out it was only a weekday deal and that 2 + 2 + 2 actually equalled $7.59 while we were there. Anyway, after we got over the disappointment, the weekend turned out okay. Actually, it was great. We got to hear Tony Campolo and Kay Arthur speak. We also got to hear Starfield and Casting Crowns in concert which both turned out better than I anticipated. Brian Doerksen was also there which I was totally pumped about 'cause he is definitely my favorite worship leader. I had a couple good workshops including "leading as Jesus led" and "the worship life of Jesus", but my favorite by far was a songwriting class with Brian Doerksen. It was a little hard to concentrate during the class though. I got a little celebrity shy which is funny 'cause anyone who's seen Brian Doerksen knows he doesn't look or act like a celebrity. It was a great class though. He had many good tips and ideas and I know I learned a lot. We even got to see Phil Siebert there for a bit. Small World. Oh yeah, and my lasagna turned out great. Or so they said.
