Magnificent

This weekend Gord and I went to LA with our friends Jon and Dayna to catch the U2 show in Pasadena. Magnificent. What more can I say about it? It was the greatest rock show I've ever been to. Black Eyed Peas opened with Slash joining them on stage for "Sweet Child of Mine". Unbelievable.

U2 played a great mix with lots of classics and lots of new stuff as well. Great stage. Amazing lights. Unbelievable sound. 97,000 people. One unforgettable show.






Gord and I also had the chance to go to the San Diego Zoo, which was very cool. They have so many different animals and an incredible amount of foliage around there.





All in all, best weekend ever.

The Dreaded Moment Arrives

Gord and I are simple people, with simple dreams. We like to dream the attainable. One of Gord's dreams as of late is to have dreads. So Gord put an action plan in place, so that step by step, he could achieve those dreams. One year ago, Gord decided he would not cut his hair, but would grow it out long enough to dread it.

Our good friends Jon and Dayna took it upon themselves to come over and help in the process. I have to say, I don't know who was more excited; Gord or Jon, who was living vicariously through him.
